RISE – Resilience * Independence * Self-reliance * Empowerment

RISE is a group for young adults aged 18-25, with additional needs who are making the transition from children’s services to adult services. The group aims to engage positively with the young people in an age appropriate, creative and innovative way, that will empower them and increase their self- esteem.

This weekly group supported by a team of experienced youth workers and runs from within Blaby and Whetstone Youth Club on Warwick Rd.

The Mix

Online support service for under 25’s, covering a wide array of challenges covering relationships, mental health, drink and drugs, housing, money, work and study, crime and safety, travel, lifestyle, healthy body/staying fit either just for a confidential, private chat with a trained member of the team or if the young person is in crisis.  Services are free and can be accessed by phone, email, crisis messenger, one to one chat or through their counselling services.
